Service Times
We regret that at present we are unable to hold Sunday Services or our midweek Bible Study and Prayer Meeting (click for more details)
We are a small Evangelical Church, on the outskirts of Wrexham, seeking to worship God,
and reach the local community with God’s good news.
As Evangelicals we believe that the Bible is both without error, and the sole authority for what we believe and practice.
Although independent of all denominations, we do have close links with other Evangelical churches –
Associating Evangelical Churches in Wales (AECW)
Evangelical Movement of Wales (EMW)
Affinity – Gospel Churches in the UK
Sadly today, many people who profess to be Christians, show little interest in what the Bible actually teaches.
We are called upon in the Bible to believe in Jesus Christ, who is the truth.
We therefore have a very clear Statement of Faith of what the Bible teaches which you can read – click “Statement of Faith”.
It is consistent with the teachings of the Protestant Reformation and the great Welsh revivals.
This little story I heard recently shows us why we need to know what we believe.
Three people went up in a plane intending to jump from it.
One thought he could fly and so wore Superman clothes and jumped!
Another thought he was was going to walk in space, so wore a space suit … and jumped!
The third took a parachute, put it on and jumped.
No need to guess what happened to the first two. Only the third landed safely.
Faith is not enough … we must believe the truth.
Jesus told us God’s Word (the Bible) is truth.
We regret that at present we are unable to hold Sunday Services or our midweek Bible Study and Prayer Meeting. We still have a Zoom Prayer Meeting at 10am on Wednesdays
Small group (or 1to1) studies for those wanting to learn more about the Bible can still be held if you are interested.
